I live for the sun.

I’m not sure I could ever overestimate the positive effect of just stepping out the door, looking up at a bright blue sky, and soaking in the rays of the sun.

Today I did outdoor yoga in the heart of downtown with a group of ~40 others and it just felt…healing. I haven’t gone outdoors much in half a year because it gets fricking cold and unfriendly outside in the winter months here (excuses I know), so the experience felt particularly impactful because it’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure of feeling that.

It’s the warmth. It’s the optimism. It’s seeing your surroundings with greater lumosity.  It’s the feeling that no matter how shitty and lifeless you feel inside, there’s an energy out there that will fuel you if you let yourself find it.

Yes! I sometimes find myself forgetting, but it’s always so positive to find gratitude in the little things.
